Under the motto "The mice are coming to your campus!", 3Dconnexion invited students to attend a series of roadshow events held at the three largest technical universities in Germany, where they had an opportunity to experience 3D mice first-hand.

 

The road show kicked off on November 15, 2010 at the Technical University of Munich. Over the next two days, we also visited the TU in Darmstadt and the RWTH in Aachen. In each case, students from the Formula Student programme at the local university provided us with their energetic support during the presentation.

We were amazed both by how eager the students were to experience the mice for themselves, and by how much they had already heard about our products. On all three days, we presented the latest features of our 3D mice, from our new 3D mouse "Home" to the new "Intelligent Navigation". Students young and old attended and experimented with the 3D mice. And there was lots for us to learn too, i.e., which software is used, how the 3D mouse is integrated into the universities, and the students' specific requirements.

From our point of view, the road show was a huge success! So much so, that we're planning another road show this year. The exact dates have not yet been set but we will notify the universities of these as soon as possible.
